Hamsanaada is a Kannada literature app that presents 162 Sanskrit Subhashitas with Kannada translations, compiled by Hamsanandi and published by Saaranga Media.

The App stores the following data locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party:

• Reading progress: Which articles you have read.
• Favorites: Articles you have marked as favorites.
• Notification preferences: Your chosen notification schedule for the "Subhashita of the Day" reminders (enabled/disabled, frequency, custom times).

This data is stored using your device's local storage and is removed when you uninstall the App.

4. Permissions

The App requests the following device permissions:

• Notifications: To send local "Subhashita of the Day" reminders at your chosen schedule. You can deny or revoke this permission at any time through your device settings.
• Boot completed (Android): To reschedule notification reminders after your device restarts.

No other permissions are requested.

5. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs. No data is shared with any third party.

The App contains links to external websites (such as saaranga.com and our social media pages). When you tap these links, you leave the App and the privacy policy of the respective website applies.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is suitable for users of all ages. Since the App does not collect any personal data, it complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations.
